lyrics
Names, Names, Names:
I stare at your face on the computer screen
To kiss the monitor might seem obscene
I know you your name
You will never know mine
Names, Names, Names
I’ve read your comment section people can be so cruel to you
I stare at a class of blank faces
Knowing I’ll never make a difference
I know your name
You will never know mine
Names, Names, Names
I know you name
You will never know mine
Names, Names, Names

The title track pulled me into Slow Crush's orbit, but Tremble held me there - alongside Lull from the Hush LP and the whole of Seasurfer's Dive In, it can send me into an altered state of consciousness. The album vibrates with hints and nudges, from Slowdive twangs to a Corgan-esque chord shift, but Slow Crush are their own sound - thick, dark melodic, etherealistic soundscapes with Isa Holliday's vocals both binding the music and rising above it. One of the best bands in years. sentientpoet
L.A.’s No Swoon offer dazzling dreampop on this, their debut album, with feather-light melodies drifting over rolling guitars. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 9, 2022
The excellent new LP from Seattle’s Fotoform pairs the moodiness of goth with drifting dream pop melodies, resulting in bewitching songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 18, 2021

Shoegaze ist die Kunst des Dröhnens, doch „Everything Is Alive“ setzt diese Elemente nur sparsam ein. Statt Hall- und Zerr-Sounds aufzutürmen, schäumt die Musik in feinen Bläschen über.
